DIP Workshop 2025
2nd Workshop on fighting viral infection using defective interfering particles
Following up on the 2023 interdisciplinary workshop on “Fighting viral infections using defective interfering particles” we, the Junior Research Group Viral Systems Modeling of Dr. Tanja Laske, would like to announce the next edition.
This year's workshop will focus on the longitudinal studies of defective viral genome (DVG) propagation. In particular, we invite both wet lab and dry lab researchers to present their approaches to study defective viral genome biology and its application. Please note that the main focus will be given to contributions that deal with time course analysis of viral infections. We aim to compile an interdisciplinary and diverse program covering a large spectrum of DVG-forming viruses. Hence, also contributions from viral backgrounds outside of the influenza virus universe are welcome. We are looking forward to fruitful, multi-perspective discussion rounds!
