LIV Career Day 2023

This year's Career Day took place on October 6, 2023 at LIV and offered participants valuable insights into various career and networking opportunities. 40 PhD students and PostDocs participated in the event. There were 12 speakers from different companies and institutes who presented careers such as Consulting, Medical Science Liaison Management or Process Engineering to show the participants the various possibilities after the PhD.

The Career Day started with an interactive workshop in which the participants worked out their own professional priorities and goals. This helped the young academics to better understand their career aspirations and goals. During the lunch break, there was an opportunity for networking, where the PhD students and PostDocs could meet the presenters at the tables in person. The event also provided ample opportunity for informal discussions. During the lunch break and later in the day, all participants were able to personally clarify individual questions with the speakers and make valuable contacts over coffee, cake and refreshing drinks.
