8th Nordic / 1st European Merkel Cell Carcinoma Meeting
The European Merkel Cell Carcinoma Meeting brings together experts in basic research, diagnostics and therapy (immunotherapy) of Merkel cell carcinoma in order to improve the therapy and management of patients in the long term.

Participation is free of charge, interested parties from the LIV/CSSB are welcome. Please register via the webpage https://www.nemcc.org/ or by email to the main organizer Prof. Dr. Nicole Fischer.
A major focus of the event will be on viral-induced Merkel cell carcinoma, which is being researched by Prof. Dr. Adam Grundhoff, head of the Virus Genomics research group at the LIV and Prof. Dr. Nicole Fischer, research group leader at the Institute of Medical Microbiology, Virology and Hygiene at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE).
