Women in leadership

On April 13, 2021, the digital Leibniz event "Women in Leadership" took place. HPI Research Department Head Prof. Gülsah Gabriel participated in the panel discussion and reported on her experiences with the Leibniz Programme for Women Professors. 
 

After a brief welcoming address by Leibniz President Prof. Matthias Kleiner, the Equality Report was presented at the event. This was followed by a panel discussion on the topic of "Women in Leadership: Status Quo and Perspectives". The discussion focused in particular on target-oriented ways to increase the proportion of women in professorships and accompanying measures that can be taken. The aim was to provide an impetus for the discussion of the Equality Report with regard to the topic of women in leadership positions and to obtain information from the discussion on the further development of the Leibniz Programme for Women Professors as well as further accompanying measures.

A total of more than 50 people attended the two-and-a-half-hour, Leibniz-internal event.
