Flow cytometry/FACS

The FACS technology platform enables external interested parties to carry out analyses and sorting of mammalian cells at the LIV under specialist expertise. All TP-FACS devices can be used for a small fee:

• FACS analyses: 25 Euro/hour
• FACS sorting in S2 / S3** (only by TP staff): 60 Euro/hour
• FACS instruction: 50 Euro/hour

Devices are booked via the LIV calendar by TP FACS staff. 

To create a customer file for the first time, it is necessary to carry out the following procedure once (see also External use procedure):

The forms FACS Information, TP FACS Usage Rules and Usage GTCs must be read through and are accepted by signing the Usage CTCs. The document Measurement of unfixed cells must be signed and brought along on the day of the analysis/sorting.

After the experiments have been carried out, an invoice will be issued and the times will be invoiced quarterly by our accounting department.
